Twentyfive percent of children start school with a language delay, but talking to and reading with your child from birth can make a significant difference. To help address this, the HEMA Foundation has developed a special children’s book and app for children aged 0-4. This initiative was a collaboration between the HEMA Foundation, VoorleesExpress, Voedselbanken Nederland, and Stichting Humanitas.
IFor this project, I developed the concept and story for the book, which encourages children with language delays to read with their parents. The illustrations were created by Lotte Gielen, and the app was designed and built by HIRO. This project aims to bridge the language gap and provide essential resources to families in need, ensuring a brighter future for every child.
